Steel Green Manufacturing has had a loyal and dedicated customer base since its inception in 2018. The customer spotlight calendar made its debut in 2019, where social media campaigns and email marketing were used to solicit customer photos of their Steel Green equipment in action. The campaign was a hit, with 84 photo entries submitted by 36 different customers.
The 12 best images were selected and used as the month’s heading. Honorable mentions that did not make it into the calendar were featured on social media. The printed calendar was distributed at the 2019 GIE+EXPO to those who came by their exhibition space.
The customer calendar contest continues to be a hit even after 2019, with three other versions joining behind it and counting. It is an important campaign for the brand; not from a recognizable standpoint, but from a customer acknowledgement and engagement standpoint.
